MAIJA ARIELE FIEDELHOLTZ (she/her)

After a year working as an Assistant to a Talent Agent at The Gersh Agency in Beverly Hills, I accepted an offer to participate in Columbia University's Nonfiction Writing MFA Program. Immersing myself in the entertainment industry was an invaluable experience in administrative support at a quick pace, attention to detail, and excellent service. From supporting clients through events and brand opportunities, to building client pitching materials, to researching contacts, to evaluating relevant opportunities like brand deals, to reviewing contracts, I have become well versed in the business of talent representation and digital marketing. While my passion lies in the traditional world of reading and writing, I am a chronically online Gen Z-er and I know that effective long form content must also incorporate a digital element. I am passionate about using my voice to write authentically from a Gen Z perspective about relationships, feminism, and politics in the age of social media. I am eager to create community and discourse through critical cultural engagement—whether it be building out my personal Substack, community events, or contributing to other media publications and platforms like Betches, Withitgirl, SeaTogether, or UCLA Radio.
